Good Samaritan Fund of the Caro Area Churches
The Good Samaritan Fund is supported by several area churches to provide food to families in need. At Caro First Presbyterian, we help by not only donating food, but mainly donating loose coin into the collection plate every Sunday! The Good Samaritan Fund is able to use the cash to purchase many needed supplies and food for an extremely substantial discount through the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan. As well as food, the Good Samaritan Fund also helps those in need with gasoline cards, housing payments, medical supplies, utilities payments, and other items. This is why cash is important also! If you have an additional contribution of cash bills or checks, please put them in a marked envelope labeled “Good Samaritan Fund”.
