Finance and Personnel

This committee oversees the financial recordkeeping and reporting system of the church. The committee reports the financial status of the church to Session and the congregation on a periodic basis, compiles the annual budget, and makes fiscal policy recommendations to the Session. The committee is comprised of one active elder, the treasurer and other members of the church. They meet the first Tuesday evening of the month. Members of the church are invited to meet with this committee and share their gifts of stewardship and finance.

Office Assistance

First Presbyterian Church does not employ a secretary and relies on the time of our members to assist in sharing office responsibilities. Weekly the bulletins need to be copied and folded. Monthly the newsletter is copied, assembled, address labels attached and mailed. Phone calls also need to be made to organize Lunch Bunch for the month.
